Responsible for establishing and implementing the Tunnel Boring Machine Safety Program. ? Manage all aspects of safety and health on the construction project site. ? Coordinated with first responders, tunnel emergency procedures, rescue operations and evacuations. ? Inspect and evaluate the project site, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations, company, owner, policies and procedures. ? Plan, control and coordinate all work to eliminate hazards, minimize risks, and aggressively manage losses involving injuries or property damages with all project departments (Design, Engineering, and Environmental). ? Work directly with the Project Manager and the supervisory team to develop and implement work plans. ? Facilitates and participates in incident investigations and near miss reporting to the joint venture leadership.
