The Programmatic Ad Sales Director will be responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring programmatic advertising campaigns that drive online traffic and revenue to the company. This includes managing budgets, creating ad copy, targeting audience segments, and analyzing campaign performance. The Programmatic Manager will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest programmatic advertising trends and best practices to ensure that campaigns are as effective as possible.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute innovative sales strategies, build strong relationships with key media buying agencies, clients, and advertising in order to drive growth of ad revenue across all platforms (i.e., digital and emerging media, TV and other media products and services).
• Develop relationships with internal media resources and platforms to optimize cross-platform opportunities.
• Ensure an understanding of the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising.
• Develop and present advertising strategies and ideas for clients to incorporate TV, OTT, and digital mediums.
• Engage prospective advertisers interested in investing in Olympusat’s suite of channels.
• Identify and develop strong and durable relationships with key media buying agencies, clients, and advertising/research entities that will optimize and increase revenue.
• Create sales infrastructure to maximize the selling of commercial inventory.
• Maintain existing business and develop new ones through selling commercial advertising time through outreach to various brands, agencies, and other advertising buyers.
• Maintain ongoing communication with direct reports to review programs, provide feedback and guidance, discuss new developments, and exchange information.
• Develop quarterly strategic plans, weekly projection reports, and set budgets and goals for the Ad Sales team.
• Develop and manage the performance of the Ad Sales team to build and increase Olympusat’s sales activities.
• Develop standards of performance, periodically evaluate performance, and conduct performance management planning.
• Attend TV network and Digital Industry special events and provide inputs on innovative sales promotion ideas to Olympusat management.
• Work directly with Olympusat’s Chief Content Officer and any other Olympusat employee or agent as determined in Olympusat’s sole discretion.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, preemptively anticipate potential changes, proactively provide multiple solutions to challenges, measure progressive, and assess the success of sales campaigns.
