Hi there,
I am currently looking to transition into the consulting world from my previous construction management experience. I have (4) years of experience with a top General Contracting firm (Turner Construction) in the US, and am eager to the move to consulting, strategy consulting in specific.
Several reasons went behind the decision to make the switch, (1) I realized with time that I am industry agnostic and would want to explore and come up with innovative ideas and strategies in other industries, (2) I realized that my create thinking was not being used at it's full potential in construction management and is something I believe I can bring value to for consulting firms and there clients, (3) I am really good at problem solving and strategizing for project launches, skills I used at my previous company, (4) I really like traveling and interacting with clients, as well as working in a fast pace environment.
These are, to name a few, the main reasons I would like to get into consulting and I truly believe that I am well equipped for the job. Only landing interviews will truly show first of all my passion and desire to enter the consulting world, and second will allow me to showcase my true ability in problem solving/leadership/communication/creativity, all the main skills required to be the ideal consultant.
Thank you for the support,
