I believe I could be a strong fit for COO or CFO roles in the renewable energy industry. My experience as an Integrator building operational and financial capabilities in solar energy complement Visionary CEO's looking to grow project pipelines, hold and own assets, or sell them to Global Infrastructure Funds as I have done.
I joined my current company in 2015 when it was 7 employees. Since then, I have helped it scale to over 200 FTE and $115 million of revenue. Much of the work I did could be helpful to others:
• Building a process for taking projects from start to finish, with detailed checklists at different stages to maximize success and minimize capital spent on projects that will not be successful.
• Sourcing and integrating tools that put process into systems that can scale. I did this by implementing Procore as our project management platform so that our leadership team could get visibility into the status and stage of +400 projects, their spend compared to budget, and overseeing execution as we took projects to commercial operation.
• Building financial models to understand the company’s cash position and manage cashflow as we grew – a critical capability for growing companies.
• Recruiting and hiring great people, growing them, and promoting them into much of our leadership and management roles.
My role would be to bring complementary strengths to the CEO and leadership team, helping prepare the business to scale and sell so the CEO has optionality and flexibility.
