Dear Recruiting Team, I am delighted to begin the next chapter of my career after recently earning my doctoral degree in molecular pharmacology with specific research on molecular virology. I am interested in positions as an R&D scientist, project manager, and/or scientific liaison. I am currently based in Los Angeles, CA but plan to relocate to Boston-Cambridge, MA area and would be willing to consider New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC in the United States as well as certain international relocation. As a non-traditional candidate, I have experience in delving into new fields to garner novel skill sets. My past experiences outside of academia have included working as a data analyst in a statistical consulting company, independently as a retrospective clinical researcher, and as a scientific research editor for scientific manuscripts. These past experiences trained me in effective communication using both English and Indonesian as well as bridging international scientific collaborations. Through my academic career, I have extensive background in virology, molecular biology, RNA biology, statistical analysis, scientific writing and presentations, and independent project planning.
