I have a deep desire to continue working in the education sector. I would like to develop and analyze through research-based correlations: curriculum design/development, teacher education (professional development), and 21st century initiatives preparing students, teachers, and individuals for the demands of and for the real world (with a focus on critical thinking/cognitive levels of instruction).
As a teacher leader with over six years of experience in the New York City Department of Education teaching students with special needs and English Language Learners, and four years in higher education teaching and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and learning differences, my skill set is broad. I have the dedication, motivation, and drive to support all learners.
