I am a Pensacola-based remote Electrical Estimator, with experience in the electrical trade across two countries. I successfully
completed the IBEW’s four-year apprenticeship program in 2014 and became a qualified Journeyman Electrician with B&D
Industries, installing complex electrical systems in our Sandia National Labs division. That was followed by two years in the
city division as a Site Electrical Foreman for several large projects, while also an on-call Electrician one week a month. I later
became the Lead Electrician for our Hospital division before moving to New Zealand.
In 2017, I was hired by McKay Limited in New Zealand as an Electrical Supervisor over a $2M Hospital build. I worked
successfully in that position for two years before being promoted to Project Estimator in 2019. Since then, I was tasked with
implementing a better estimating system. I opted with using McCormick and went on to personally build a New Zealandbased
electrical database, with over 5000 items and 500 assemblies, all linked to local supplier pricing. This has given me a
unique insight into how general estimating software’s function.
In late 2021, my family and I returned to the Florida, and we have since decided to stay rather than return. I continue to work
for McKay on a part-time basis as I seek full-time employment here in the US. I am also currently involved in contract
estimating for two US-based Electrical Contractors.
I have a thorough knowledge of the electrical trade here in the states as well as in New Zealand. I believe my cross-cultural
experience of working electrical jobs in two different countries makes me a valuable addition to any company and
demonstrates my ability to adapt and learn quickly regardless of the environment., Electrical, Electrical, Electrical, Construction Management, Construction Management, Electrical, electrical estimator, electrical
