Management Profile
Founder Raymond M Burch, an executive with a diverse background in engineering and operations, was an integral part of both McDonnell Douglas and Boeing commercial aircraft divisions in Long Beach. He held Director level positions in Engineering and Quality Assurance before electing to start his own business.
Educated and trained as an engineer in England he worked for English Electric Aviation and CDI (Southall) as a Design Engineer before moving to the USA in 1967. He then worked as an Engineer in Structural Design and later in Stress and Fatigue Analysis at Boeing, Douglas Aircraft Co, North American Rockwell and Northrop before returning to McDonnell Douglas where he attained General Manager status in Engineering. After the merger with Boeing he moved into Quality Assurance as Director of Quality.
In 1999 he then took an early retirement as the Long Beach product lines were phased out and opened his business of executive recruitment, specializing in an industry that he had worked for over 30 years.
