Our unique, customized search process points to our 100 percent fill rate. No employment website or staffing franchise can provide the level of customization we provide. We spend hours interviewing and assessing the right candidates for you. We will tell you the good, the bad and the ugly upfront so you know what to expect long before the work begins.
Our process involves substantial research regarding individuals already identified by Acumen, possible candidates already known to you, and candidates from competitive organizations. With this thorough needs analysis and position evaluation, we create a customized search specific to your company.
We cast a wide net to qualify both active and passive candidates. During the process we utilize our experience and vast network of resources and relationships. We rely on traditional talent search methods, along with cutting edge technology and proprietary software.
Once candidates are identified, we evaluate them against your company and candidate profiles in various ways, including telephone pre-screening, personal interviews (in-person or video conference), and developing a complete written profile for each candidate.
After selecting candidates that meet your criteria and are interested in exploring the opportunity, we present them to your company. We give you written profiles and/or resumes to be interviewed and coordinate timely interviews with the appropriate representatives at your company.
We spend an average of six hours qualifying a candidate before they are ever introduced to a client. The process involves discovering a candidate’s proven skillset, as well as their soft skills. Interviews involve multiple Acumen recruiters to get the best possible read. Finding the best fit is always top priority.
Once the final candidates have met with you, we help you process the information to make a well-formed decision. We also assist the selected candidate with advice on long-term professional growth. In the event that the candidates are not accepted or the job offer is declined, we’ll continue the search until we find the right candidate for you.
References and credential verification will be provided – we will check with current employers when an offer is made. Background checks, including criminal, are conducted when applicable.
Our job is not over once a candidate is hired. Our 92.7% placement retention rate is due, in part, to ongoing follow-up with both the employer and the candidate. Our goal is to ensure a positive transition.
