In 1956, our company was founded in Cleveland, Ohio, as an engineering and design firm known as Centerline Design. The company name changed to the National Engineering Service Company, or Nesco for short; and we began providing staffing services by matching engineer to jobs at our client's facilities. The company grew as the staffing industry grew, from a small niche market into a multi-million dollar industry. By the end of the 1980's, the staffing industry was employing over 1 million Americans with an annual payroll of over $10 billion. Nesco Resource's offices expanded over the years both organically and through acquisition, developing branch network presence in the Western, Midwestern, Northeastern, and Southern geographies. The growth throughout the 1990's and early 2000's expanded Nesco Resource expertise outside of our core market of engineering employment services, and into Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, Industrial and Administrative staffing services. As our company grew, so did our lines of service, which now include temporary staffing, direct hire, on-site management services, recruitment process outsourcing, payroll administration services, managed service programs, international recruiting, and more.

The deep roots of Nesco Resource and its constant commitment to quality at all levels, has earned the company numerous awards and accolades including Inavero's Best in Staffing Award for both Talent and Client categories from 2011 to 2015, putting Nesco Resource in the top 2% of staffing firms and employment agencies in the USA and Canada. We are now recognized as one of the Fastest Growing Staffing Firms in the USA, and one of the largest employment agencies in the Engineering and Industrial sectors on a national level.

The company continues to expand and grow today, continually adding branch offices throughout the USA and expanding its capabilities by investing in growth, training, and the cultivation of its own talent. In 2014, Nesco Resource launched a National Training Center, in addition to our first international office located in Heredia, Costa Rica.
