Company Description
Moses Engineering (Moses) was incorporated in 1980 with offices in Gainesville, Florida and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are a 28 person professional engineering firm that focuses on long term working relationships with selected public and private institutional clients. Our goal is to establish long-term relationships, not to "chase projects". Our firm is led by Sam Frasier, PE, President with the support of two exceptional partners including Mark Akin, PE, and David Brooks, PE. At least one principal is directly involved in every project ensuring that every project, no matter the size, has owner involvement and oversight. Each of the principals bring specific skills with more than 75 years of combined experience that have been developed over a long period.
Our firm has a strong, talented and experienced staff of mechanical and electrical engineers, as well as support personnel. The staff is organized into three multi-discipline design teams that regularly work together to enhance communication, improve quality control and improve our ability to meet all schedule demands.
The central focus of Moses is serving institutional clients that are concerned with not only the first cost of building systems, but also the life cycle costs that include energy and maintenance costs. We routinely perform building assessments and energy impact analysis with a primary goal of balancing energy efficiency and programmatic functionality.
Our services cover all aspects of the building environment including: Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Telecommunication, Audio Visual, Security, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems. In addition, we provide comprehensive Master Planning, Building Assessments, Commissioning and Retro-Commissioning Services. Our experience also extends to the more advanced systems beyond the traditional MEP firm including but not limited to: Central Energy Plants, Specialty Healthcare Spaces, Biocontainment Facilities (BSL2 and BSL3), Med Gas Systems, Nurse Call Systems, Building Automation Systems, Emergency/Standby Power Systems, Medium Voltage and Data Centers.
