Recruits nationally for executive management, senior IT, and financial management, supply chain management, and top-tier technical level individual contributors in information systems.
Company Description
Excel in domestic and international retained searches for privately held manufacturing, natural resource, technology, consulting, and software firms.
Recruit most senior executive management roles including Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) down to manager-level.
We aggressively search out the excellent candidates considered the best by their peers, not just the best available. We speak with people who know excellent prospects (likely not looking for a new job), then we convince those qualified prospects to consider moving to our client's position.
Some searches are done in a stealth mode, with few at our client company being aware of the search effort.
We set a fixed fee at the outset of the search effort which enables us to be “candidate compensation agnostic”, able to assess internal and recruited candidates on a more equal basis, and to support your compensation offer to the chosen candidate with no conflict of interest.
We treat information about our client companies with the same respect for confidentiality as that of our own firm.
For candidates, Andrew Associates will never send a resume to a company without first receiving explicit permission from the individual.
Our founder and president, Andy Wihtol, has extensive experience in Information Technology (CIO) and Financial leadership (CFO); ranging from entry positions, through creating two new IT organizations (one while he was posted in Indonesia), and combining, then collapsing, two IT groups from 200 members to just over 100 people. He served as controller/finance manager of Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel; in times of great growth as well as severe retrenchment. He was CFO of a Portland based electronics company and led them through a significant change in systems and accounting for government contracts (C.A.S. & F.A.R.). Other experience has been gained in marketing, manufacturing, customer service, quality, and product engineering positions.
He served for three years on the National Executive Board of 4500 member IT Leader professional organization SIM (The Society for Information Management).
Andy has owned the firm for twenty-four years.
Andy’s objective for community service is “To proactively educate or assist youth.” He’s served his community in Board positions for the Krannert Business School at Purdue, Oregon Museum of Science & Industry, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Waverly Children’s' Home.
